Sweetheart letters on display in Portsmouth as part of £11.5m exhibitions marking 100 years of Royal Navy's untold stories

On display for the first time at the National Museum of the Royal Navy in Portsmouth Historic Dockyard are love letters written by Chief Stoker Walter Grainger, who joined the Royal Navy in 1883 and served into the First World War until 1916.
